Shocking Allegations About Rape Investigations in Baltimore County

Buzzfeed reports that Baltimore County Police dropped rape allegations cases at an abnormally higher percentage than other police departments. Some of the reporting shocks the conscience. Officers are quoted as stating that some victims did not fight hard enough as stated by the police chief in a recent radio interview.

Another whopper is that a case was closed after 8 hours and claimed that the rape victim did not wish to prosecute. It turns out that the victim had no idea the case was closed nor that someone had alleged that she did not want to proceed.

The radio host suggested having outside groups investigate the police departments handling of the rape cases.
